Riley
Blade has had a successful career with SWAT and in the private sector. Now that
he’s employed with McKay-Taggart in Dallas, he gets to consultant on things
like security for movies, like the one his friend Lyle Tarpin. The reason he left LA is Lyle’s personal
assistant. He may be able to do his best
to avoid her, as she made it clear that she isn’t attracted to him or
interested in a relationship with him.
Riley isn’t different from any other man in his profession, he’s a head
strong alpha male. He knows what he
wants but getting Natasha to give what they could have together a chance proves
to be one of his biggest challenges yet.
Add in a stalker and a stubborn females and Riley has his work cut out
for him.
Natasha
loves her job and her loves working for her boss, Lyle Tarpin. She loves LA and everything about it, well almost
everything. Her father’s death has
affected her in more ways than most know.
Natasha is a strong independent woman who has almost everything she
wanted. She knows what type of man she
should want but that isn’t nearly close to who she really wants. When strange
things start happening to her she brushes is off as if it was nothing. Her boss, Lyle goes behind her back and hires
her a body guard against her approval.
Riley
and Natasha have always had undeniable chemistry but Natasha has proven to be a
very stubborn woman and she is denying her feelings for Riley. When Riley finds out that she may have a
stalker, he changes his plans so he can stay back to protect her. He knows she won’t agree to it but he won’t
let anyone else be her body guard. These two have a past that they haven’t
shared with their mutual friends but the cat is out of the bag when Natasha’s
life is in danger. Riley won’t let their past get in the way of protecting her
and showing her that he is the man she not only needs but the one she craves.
Julie
has done an amazing job adding to the Stark International series. Julie has such an amazing group of men that keeps
you coming back for more and Riley is no exception. Getting to know both Riley and Natasha only
adds to this series. If you have ready
any of the Stark books you don’t know what you’re missing.

Shane narrowed his gaze, not liking
the sound of that at all. “I’ll get to the bottom of it,” he promised, knowing
his friend was in China and would be worried sick about his sister.
“Keep in touch,” Tate demanded.
“Will do.” Shane disconnected the call
and looked at Talia.
A woman he hadn’t seen since high
school because, although he was good friends with her brother, he and Talia ran
in different circles.
They always had.
A year younger, the little brainiac
who’d tutored him in chemistry his senior year had saved his ass and enabled
him to graduate. Too bad he’d been stupid enough to kiss her as a thank you,
then shove his tongue down her throat and his hand up her shirt like she was a
horny cheerleader and he was the football captain copping a feel. Which he had
been.
But she wasn’t that kind of girl.
She’d deserved better. No wonder she’d pushed him away and slammed the door in
