Kim's 4 Star Review
Sydney Walker just got her first official job, as the nanny
for a NFL Super star Drew Callahan and his wife Fable and she loves it. The kids are adorable and Fable is a great
person to work for. The problem with
working for a high profit person is the media likes to twist the truth. The plan
was to create a fake relationship with Niner’s Rookie Wide Receiver, Wade Knox
but spending time together getting to know each other may be just what both of
them need.
I was given this book in exchange for and honest review.
I got caught up in Sydney and Wade’s love affair as they are
probably the most adorable couple I’ve read about in a while. They both seem to think they don’t believe in
love and yet they are both falling so hard for each other. The down fall to a fake relationship is not
truly knowing what the other is thinking or feeling. Sydney and Wade fit
together like puzzle pieces. It almost
like they were made for each other. The
sexual tension between Sydney and Wade is hard to miss. Even Fable feels it too as she tries her best
to nudge these two together.
I first was introduced to Monica’s writing in the One Week Girlfriend
Series so when I found out this book was coming out giving fans of the series a
chance to check up with Drew and Fable I knew I couldn’t miss it. I love how
Monica brought back Drew and Fable and used them to bring Sydney into Wade’s
life while getting a chance to see what’s happening in Drew & Fable’s life.
Monica did a great job of crossing the two series. As much as I loved this story I thought the
ending could’ve been better. It felt
unfinished to me. Even the epilogue didn’t
help make the ending feel like the story was finished in my opinion but don’t
let that deter you away from this book because not reading it would be a
shame. Reading it will make you fall in
love with Sydney and Wade like I did.
