Caden

I knew she was the one the moment I laid eyes on her.

She’s everything I’ve ever wanted, and I never dreamed of finding her in my hometown. Savannah Owens seems lost and wants to find a place where she feels as if she belongs. What she doesn’t realize is she’s already found it. When I uncover a long buried secret, I know it’ll change everything Savannah and I have. Secrets never stay hidden, and once the truth about Savannah’s past is revealed, I’ll do whatever it takes to keep her and make her mine forever.

Savannah

All I’ve ever wanted was to find a place where I belong.

A place that I actually fit in and don’t feel like an outsider. When I met Caden Harlow, I thought I found my home. He’s everything I need to make my life seem almost perfect. No matter how much I try to stay away, something always pulls me back to him. But the urge to get the answers I’ve longed for, outweighs my feelings for him. I have to find the truth, if only to put an end to my insecurity of never being wanted and truly loved.

Kim's 5 Star Review

The moment Caden met Savannah he knew she was the one but getting her to see things his way won’t be easy.  Savannah is far away from home but she’s on a mission and doesn’t want or need any distractions and Caden is one big Distraction.  When everything finally comes out in the open will Caden and Savannah be able to get through it or will it be there undoing?

I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.

Savannah is trying to find her place in this world, who she is when she’s pulled over by Caden Harlow.  What she found just happens to be not anything close to what she was looking for.  Love was the last thing on her mind but the moment she met Caden there was just something about him.  She reacts to Caden in ways that she’s never reacted before. There is just something about him and how he is with her but the only thing holding her back is the fact that she doesn’t know who she can trust.

Caden is the kind of guy every girl wants but he is a known player.  A man who has never brought a girl home to meet his family.  Now that Caden has met Savannah, he’ll do whatever it takes to show her that they’re meant to be together. He knows the alpha male side of him is what keeps Savannah coming but her ability to fully trust him.  Caden is very close to his family and he hopes that by showing her what he and his family can offer is so much more than she would ever anticipated finding.

I haven’t read any books by Brie Paisley before but there was just something about the synopsis of this story that had pulled me in.  Once I started reading the book, I found I couldn’t put it down.  Caden and Savannah are two very personable characters that capture me.  The way Brie wrote this story I felt like I was a part of it. A few days after I finished the book, I found myself disappointed that I wouldn’t be reading the book that day.  I missed the story and the characters from the book.  This doesn’t happen to me often but it tell me that I had a connection with the characters and their story.  There are a few books I re-read and this will definitely be one of them.

Book #1: Carter
The Harlow Brothers Series (Standalone)

Carter
She was the one for me.
The one that I knew would be mine forever until I made the biggest mistake. I pushed her away and I’ve regretted that decision ever since. I’ve tried to move on, tried to put the memory of her behind me, but she’s always consuming my thoughts. Now, she’s back in our hometown, trying to rebuild a new life. I know she’s keeping secrets. She tries to hide them from me, and I will do whatever it takes to prove that I’m the one she needs. Because Shelby Ross is the other part of me that I can’t live without and I refuse to let her go again.

Shelby
He broke my heart.
I never thought I would be able to pick of the pieces he left behind. When he let me go, I ran away from it all, thinking it was the easiest thing to do. But, running has a price and I’ve paid it in full for years. Now, I’m back where it all began, back to putting my life together and starting over. It should’ve been easy, but Carter Harlow is reawakening long buried emotions that I thought were gone. He wants to make me his again. I can’t let that happen. He ruined me, broke me, and I’m afraid I’ll never survive it a second time around.

Brie Paisley is a small town gal from Mississippi. She always wanted to write at a young age and was always filling journals with her thoughts and short stories. Brie started with the idea of Worshipped a year ago and with the encouragement of her husband and sister in law, she was able to write her first book. When she is not writing, you can find her reading a good book, painting, scrapbooking, or watching a good movie with her husband and her boxer.
