“If I

“What
makes you think I would want more with you, anyway? You aren’t exactly my
type.”
I
expect him to just give me a knowing look, or maybe toss back some mild
innuendo. What I absolutely did not expect was, “Because I have a nine-inch
cock.”
I
almost choke on my martini for a third time. I splutter, “Is that number
supposed to impress me?”

him a skeptical look. “You want to show me your dick?”
“If
it’ll help convince you.” He drains the last drops of his Scotch and stands up.

stare after him as he walks away.

Once

I try
to sound stern, but my shaking voice and bright red cheeks surely give me away.

I was gifted
this book in exchange for an honest a review and Kendall Ryan started this
series with a bang!
Noah and
Olivia may have known each other all their lives, yet they are strangers to
each other. Olivia Crane has spent most
of her life at her father’s company. In
fact she lives and breathes it. After a
heartbreak in college Olivia has focused all her energy on the company that her
father (Fred) and Noah’s father (Bill) built.
Now that Fred’s health is failing and the passing of Bill Olivia and
Noah are the only one’s life to save the company. Noah Tate is known for being a playboy who is
used to getting any woman he wants accept the one he has had a crush on since
he was young. Now that his father has
passed on and his will has been read Noah has been given a way to get her.
The sexual tension
between Noah and Olivia is explosive. These two want each other but Olivia is
trying to fight it, while Noah is willing to embrace it. With Olivia adding the condition to them
start dating, Noah steps up to the challenge and does his best to show Olivia
that he’s more than just the manwhore she’s always thought he was. I love how Noah shows Olivia that not only
does he have a heart but he cares deeply about the people he calls his friends. Olivia is a bit of an ice queen but with her
experience in heartbreak has made her doubt herself. Most of the time she’s a confident woman but
Olivia is looking for what her parents had, and not seeing what is in front of
her.
Kendall has
wrote these amazing characters who you can’t help but fall in love with. You might think you’re getting the regular
old Alpha male in Noah but he will surprise you when he shows Olivia just how far
off she is about him. He gives more in
the trial phase she thought he would.
Noah actually puts himself out there while Olivia is still holding back. You can’t help but fall for Noah and wonder
when Olivia will finally let her guard down and give him a chance. Like many series this book ends with a cliff
hanger that leaves you wondering what is going on and if these two are meant to
be together.
