Jackson Steele and Sylvia Brooks are back in the powerful finale of a provocative, sizzling-hot new erotic trilogy set in the world of J. Kenner’s beloved Stark novels: Release Me, Claim Me, and Complete Me.

He’s the only man I’ve ever loved, and the one man I can’t bear to lose.

Jackson Steele is my light in this world. Charismatic, bold, and always in control, he knows what he wants and how to get it—and absolutely nothing stands in his way. His hold on me is magnetic, his claim on me complete, his kiss my ultimate escape.

We both harbor dark secrets that could tear our lives apart. Though we’ve tried to bury our pasts, there are certain people who won’t let us forget. But the closer danger comes, the brighter the fire between us burns—our ecstasy consuming and soothing us both.

There’s no telling what lies ahead, but I know that Jackson never gives in without a fight. I’d do anything he wants to keep him safe, give him anything he needs. And now that we’re in deep, nothing can make me run.

Under My Skin is intended for mature audiences.

Kim's 5 Star Review

Secrets never stay that way for long and now Jackson Steele’s are about to be reveal.  Even though Sylvia Brooks knows his secrets it may not be enough to keep them together. Will their secrets pull them closer together or will it all come crumbling down around them?

I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.

We left the On My Knee with Jackson being asked to come in for questioning in the death of Robert Cabot Reed (Reed) at the airport as he arrived to see his daughter Ronnie.  Even though Sylvia has suspicions that Jackson may have killed Reed she never was truly concerned about it.  If he had, then he did it to protect both her and Ronnie and if it was someone else than she was left with the question of who did.  We got to see a different side of Sylvia.  She was the one who was strong enough for both of them while holding on to what she wanted her life to be.  Jackson is usually the alpha male but we got to see his vulnerable side.  He was fiercely protective of both Ronnie and Sylvia but the reality that he may lose them both made him vulnerable as he knew what he could probably lose.

I have to admit that I’m a big fan of J Kenner and I was impatiently waiting for this final book in the trilogy.  Jackson and Sylvia are characters that you can easily fall in love with.  The way they are with each other and how they can read what the other needs so easy captivated me.  I couldn’t put the book down. The twists in the story keep you wondering if you were right and where J Kenner was taking things.  What I needed most when reading this story was what was going to happen with Sylvia and Jackson and most importantly, I needed to know who killed Reed.  J Kenner keeps her readers on their toes never really giving any hints to who actually did it until the story was nearing the end.  I can’t say I’m surprised but very happy when the killer was revealed.

J Kenner wrapped up this trilogy perfectly giving us an ending that will surprise you but love at the same time.  I hold out hopes that she comes back to revisit these amazing characters and what’s going on with Jackson, Sylvia, Ronnie and yes even Damien and Nikki.
