New York Times bestselling author J. Kenner kicks off a smoking hot, emotionally compelling new trilogy that returns to the world of her beloved Stark novels: Release Me, Claim Me, and Complete Me. Say My Namefeatures Jackson Steele, a strong-willed man who goes after what he wants, and Sylvia Brooks, a disciplined woman who’s hard to get—and exactly who Jackson needs.

I never let anyone get too close—but he’s the only man who’s ever made me feel alive. Meeting Jackson Steele was a shock to my senses. Confident and commanding, he could take charge of any room . . . or any woman. And Jackson wanted me. The mere sight of him took my breath away, and his touch made me break all my rules. Our bond was immediate, our passion untamed. I wanted to surrender completely to his kiss, but I couldn’t risk his knowing the truth about my past. Yet Jackson carried secrets too, and in our desire we found our escape, pushing our boundaries as far as they could go. Learning to trust is never easy. In my mind, I knew I should run. But in my heart, I never felt a fire this strong—and it could either save me or scorch me forever.

Kim's Review
5 Stars!!!

Sylvia Brooks thought when she left Atlanta she left everyone and everything behind, but now that her project and dream job at Stark International is in jeopardy.  There is only one person standing in her way of getting what she wanted and Jackson Steele is one of the man she knows she can never have.  Has enough time past that these two can work together or does Jackson have other plans in mind?

I was given this in exchange for an honest review all I have to say is, when is the next book coming out?  I’ve loved the Stark Trilogy and I love all the novella’s that have come with it but this book just adds to the empire that J Kenner is creating around Damien & Nikki Stark.

Sylvia Brooks is a strong independent woman who has spent most of her career working for Damien Stark.  It’s not her dream job but she knows that she can get there by working with him.  When Sylvia saw an opportunity to move up within the company she took it.  Getting the project of a life time will prove to everyone that she isn’t just Damien’s assistant but she is a force within the company.  When she find outs that her project is about to collapse she uses her connections to get the best architect she can find.  The problem is he’s the one man who she can’t say no to.  With her past being kept secret from everyone, having him back in her life will only bring it to the surface.

Jackson Steele has never met a woman who has affected him like Sylvia Brooks did five years ago and when she left he never understood what happened.  Jackson prides himself as being a strong, confident and always in control Alpha male who just happens to like how easily Sylvia submitted to him.  Her leaving hurt him so when she walks back into his life, he wants nothing more than to make sure she feels the pain she put him through.

Sylvia and Jackson’s story may have started five years ago but the heat and chemistry between these two never died with them being apart.  No matter how hard Sylvia tries, she can’t hide her submissive side from Jackson.  Jackson’s dominant side loved how willing she was and how they made a perfect match.  He may be a man who never thought of himself as the relationship type but Sylvia changed that in him the day they met.  With Sylvia’s past, the kind of relationship these two have only makes things worse for her but Sylvia keeps her past hidden from the one man who could help her heal.
I love how these two fought each other tooth and nail trying to get what they thought they wanted but when things are turned around on them, they have to find a way back to each other.  I love how this series intertwines with character from the Stark trilogy but not so much that they over power Sylvia and Jackson’s story.  J Kenner knocked this out of the park with all the twist and turn in the story.  Just when I thought I had figured out how the story would go, another twist or turn was thrown in, keeping her readers keeping them on their toes.  I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for On My Knees to come out!
