Sinclair’s POV
I’m in the background of Bleu’s life, as I have been for weeks. I have eyes on her at all times, even when they’re not my own. I safeguard her from harm. It’s all I’ve done since tracking my lass down in a small town in Mississippi, right outside of Memphis. I act as her protector from afar and she has no idea. She believes she’s hidden from The Fellowship—and me—but she couldn’t be more wrong. I’m always here, keeping a watchful eye on her and the MacAllister family.
I often need to be reminded that this is Bleu’s world. Every person she has contact with isn’t a threat but there’s an enormous problem with that. I have no idea who’s friend or foe.
I was concerned when Bleu disappeared at the bar with a man earlier tonight. I was on the verge of barging into the back until my lass came out on stage to perform with the band. I don’t think I’ve ever been so surprised in all my life. I knew she played but I never pegged her for a public performer. That doesn’t seem like my Bonny at all.
But I guess I don’t really know the real Bleu MacAllister. I only know the woman she pretended to be.

Kim's Review
5 stars!!!

Bleu MacAllister’s cover was blown and now she’s back home hiding from the Fellowship. It took Sinclair (Sin) Breckenridge less than three months to find her without her knowing he had.  He’s the future leader of the criminal organization and his former lover Bleu is considered a traitor by his Uncle Abrams.  Instead of letting Bleu know he’s here, he bids his time and watches her every move. Sin not ready to give up on what they had and will do anything to protect the woman he loves including marrying her.  Will Sin be able to save the only woman he’s ever loved or will she slip through his fingers again?

I was gifted this book in exchange for an honest review.

Bleu goes about her life as if nothing happened but it’s far from the truth.  Her dad only has a matter of days left and she still has no idea how close The Fellowship is, both Abrams and Sin.  No matter how hard Bleu tries she can’t forget her time spent with Sin or how to get over him.  She’s being stubborn and delusional about the danger she is in and keeping it from her family.  She wants to be there for her father but being out in the open is putting her sister at risk too.  If Abrams gets close enough to them she could lose everything.  If Sinclair comes for her, she has no idea what she would do.  This leaves too much room for mistakes to happen, putting Bleu in a difficult position.

Sinclair isn’t ready to give up on his lass.  She’s everything he ever wanted and even though she betrayed him, he still loves her.  The fact that she never went through with her plan is in his favor as he sugar coated why she was there to his family, keeping her safe.  Keeping Bleu safe is the most important thing for him.  Marrying Bleu takes the target off her back but it also keep Sin’s heart from breaking.  He may have forgiven her for the betrayal after finding out what happen when she was a child and why she came after his father.

This is the second book in the Sin Trilogy and it’s better than the first.  The patience that Sin has to keep close watch on Bleu shows his determination to get her back.  The fact that he forgave her showed me that he believes in the love she showed him while she was with him and if he could get her to see the side of him that he wanted to show her than they could be great together.
When Sin finally lets Bleu know that he’s there, it leaves her realizing just how vulnerable she and her family really are.  On top of that, her feeling for him pull at her heart strings and she can’t seem to push hard enough to get him to leave her alone.  Sin may have a strange way of doing things but he only has Bleu and her family’s safety in mind.  He goes to Bleu’s father about his plan to keep Bleu and her sister safe after he’s gone but the thought of Bleu marrying the future leader of the The Fellowship is hard for her father to deal with but Bleu gives him the reassurance that she does love him.
Bleu knows that marrying Sin means, no more seeing her family as it’s too dangerous for them.  Being part of the The Fellowship will be hard on her and her marriage but she’s a determined woman in love with the future leaders.  Her willingness to do just about anything to be with Sin shows just how much she loves him and wants him to be safe as well.

This book in the series had me on a roller coaster of emotions with twist and turns coming when you least expected.  The fact that Bleu and Sin do find their way back to each other after everything they have already been through show the faith and love they have for each other.  I was on the edge of my seat for most of this book trying to figure out what was going to happen next and if I was right about who her killed her mother.  There are some many surprises that come with this part of Bleu and Sin story making it my favorite book in the series so far but of course the cliff hanger we were left with was bigger and better than the last one and I’m counting down the days until One Last Sin comes out on March 23.  This is my favorite series so far this year.

Bleu MacAllister is consumed. A horrific childhood incident has caused every decision in her life to revolve around bringing a monster to justice. With years spent studying The Fellowship, an organized crime brotherhood of liars, thieves, and killers, Bleu will rely on her skills as a special agent to cut Thane Breckenridge off at the knees. But walking hand in hand with retribution means risking collateral damage, in the form of Breckenridge’s son Sinclair—until Sin becomes so much more than Bleu bargained for. She’s always known this undertaking would place her life in danger—she never imagined her heart would be as well.
