Jenna Lang is one of the best computer techs in Colorado but no one would know it by looking at her.  Jenna owns her own company, sets her own hours and she loves it as she can keep people at a distance.  She fights every day to have a normal life after the abuse she suffer when she was younger.  When Billionaire Rylan Archer hires her to help him out with a problem, Jenna is more than happy but little does she know that he is testing out her skills.  The problem is Jenna is attracted to him and she doesn’t what know to do with it.  When Jenna finds out what Rylan did she freaks out and leaves hoping never to see him again.  Will they be able to work together or will the growing attract between them get in the way?

Jenna Lang was dealt a crappy hand.  The abuse she suffered when she was younger has left a lasting effect.  Jenna keeps people at a distance and has to have control with men.  She doesn’t date in the traditional way, she meets a guy, goes back to his place and they have sex and she leaves never seeing the same guy more than once.  Jenna has worked hard to become a strong independent woman and fights every day to remain strong, unfortunately she relives her past every time she closes her eyes but she wishes she could forget that part of her life.  Because of this Jenna keeps everyone at bay and was happy with her life as it was until the day she met Rylan Archer.

Rylan Archer is a self-made billionaire, starting his company when he was a freshman in college. He’s smart enough to know that he is only as good as the people he has working for him, Rylan goes after the best in the business.  Luring Jenna into an interview she didn’t know about was just the start.  He never expect to feel something for the tech savvy woman.  When Jenna uncovers Rylan’s true intention, she get mad and leaves.  The problems is Rylan doesn’t want her to leave but he wants more than just to have her work for him.  The things he feels for her is unlike anything he expected.

This is the prequel to the Pleasure Series by M. S. Parker and it’s off to an amazing start.  Jenna is a strong, level headed woman most of the time and has no problem going after what she wants.  Working for herself gives her the freedom she wants and keeps people from getting too close to her.  This works great for her until she meets Rylan.  He the one guy whom she can’t seem to get out of her head.  Rylan knows what women want from him and he’s tired of being used.  Secretly interviewing Jenna for a job at his company has given him a chance to get to know her better and learn that looks can be deceiving.  These two hit it off and both notice the connection between them but a series of bumps in the road keep them from trusting each other enough to get to know the other better.  Rylan offers Jenna a job and now we have to wait and see what her next move is.  I’m looking forward to seeing what happens between Jenna and Rylan and if Jenna can get over her past and finally live again.  M. S. Parker hit another one out of the park!!!
