Ellie is a struggling student who got lucky when she won the
sweepstakes for an all-inclusive vacation.
Ellie is a strong minded woman who needs to work on her self-esteem
since her ex walked all over it. Her best
friend Dixie thinks she needs a fling to get her back to her old self. When Ellie sees tattooed hard body Dylan Luck
she begins to thinks that Dixie might be one to something.
Dylan Luck is a handsome, rich, powerful playboy who can get
any woman he wants. After being tricked
into going on a well deserve vacation Dylan is bored with the women around him
until he sees the sweet, innocence Ellie Chase.
He’s drawn to her but can’t understand why as he has never been so drawn
to a woman before.
What a beginning to a three part series. I was hooked after I finished the first chapter. When Ellie first meets Dylan she doesn’t
believe that a man that looks like him could ever be interesting in a woman
like her. Ellie is like most woman who
underestimate themselves but with some encouragement from Dixie and an
invitation from Dylan for both of the woman to join him at the resort exclusive
party Ellie decides to give it a chance.
At this party is where the readers really get to see a side of Dylan
that he doesn’t show too often. He may be
a man who doesn’t do relationships but he does respect that a woman does have a
choice. I love how protective Dylan is
of both women and how he can get Ellie to come out and let loose making her
feel safe when she finally does. Of
course with this being a three part story were left with wondering why there
are some unwelcomed visitors at Dylan’s door.
K.B. Winters newest series is off to a great start and I can’t wait to
see what’s in store for Ellie and Dylan in the next book.

Ellie had finally found a guy she felt safe enough to let go
and try new things. Just as they are
about to let loose a knock at Dylan’s door has Ellie re-thinking things. Once she sees who interrupted them, Ellie is
reminded that Dylan is a playboy and truly out of her league. Will this be the one thing that finally
breaks Ellie or is this thing with Dylan just a fling like she hopes it is?
I was given this in exchange for an honest review.
The last book left Ellie and Dylan with company they hadn’t
planned on and was truly unwelcomed. The
late night intruders had bad timing as Ellie wasn’t looking for a playboy type
of guy and does her best to get out of the room and the situation altogether. The one thing I like about Dylan is that he
is unwilling to give Ellie up and does what he can to get her back to only to
have to deal with one more obstacle.
K.B. Winters’s series is still going strong
having hooked me in and now dying to find out what’s in store in the third and
final installment in the series.

Just when things were going the way Dylan wanted them he
makes another mistake and that costs him more then he thought. This book turned out to be an emotional roller-coaster
ride that pulls you in. As much as I liked
Dylan’s Character this was the time I wanted to reach in and smack him upside
the head for acting stupid and not giving what they had a chance. Ellie let her insecurities show through and
her stubborn side comes out as Dixie does what any best friend would do to help
out. I love how us as the readers never really know just what’s going to happen
next or how this will end.
I was given this book in exchange for an honest
review and K.B. Winters gave us a great ending to a great and well written series. I look forward to see what she comes up with
in her next book.
