She hooked one leg over
mine, and I rocked my hips into her pelvis to let her feel what she’d done to
me. Lacey groaned. “I take it you liked the massage.”
“What gave me away?” I
asked, breathing hard against her neck.
“A certain wayward
southern appendage.” She ground into me again, her hips moving against mine.
I almost chuckled. Almost
called her out for being too prissy to say the word cock . . . until her hand
slid down to my jeans to unbutton me.
“Maybe he needs some
attention too,” she rasped against my throat.
I hadn’t come here for
this and wouldn’t have pressed her, but I also wasn’t going to turn her away.

Tugging down the zipper to

She didn’t have a life like most woman growing up and she certainly
wasn’t like most women. She’s agreed to
share a man who has a roommate/friend with benefits. The problem is she not so sure she is capable
of sharing this man.
Former Navy Seal Nolan has seen how bad life can be. He’s
lost friends and seen how sour love can go.
What he wants is an easy going life.
He has with his roommate Daniella who just happen to be a submissive who
allows him to explode his dominant side when he wanted to. Their arrangement was simple. Sex when either was in the mood but he didn’t
have to be monogamous, he just had to be there and take care of Daniella’s
needs sexually. The moment he saw Lacey
he knew he had to have her but only if she agree to accept his living
situation.
I was given this book in exchange for an honest review and
in true style Kendall Ryan didn’t disappoint me. I was intrigued by this story from the
synopsis and felt I had to read it to see just how this could possibly play
out. Lacey is a woman who knows what she
wants and goes after it but the man she wants has a friend at home who gives
him what he needs with no strings attached.
You’d think that was enough but when you’re not truly into the person
you’re sexually involved with there is always something lacking. Nolan is a man of honor. He cares for his loved ones and is a true
protector. Being a dominant wasn’t what
he had in mind when he got out of the core but he was in the right place at the
right time. He enjoyed the position of
control and took that out into his relations outside of the arrangement he had
with Daniella. Lacey just happen to be
the only woman he had been with who broke down the walls he had put up. These two have chemistry that explodes every
time they touch. Just the smallest gesture or touch has them wanting more even
if they don’t take it far.
The one thing Nolan dislikes most about people and
relationships was the dishonesty. He
took the time to get to know Lacey but he knew she was holding back something
from him. As secrets goes the one’s
Lacey was hiding could prove Nolan right.
A lie of omission is still a lie but can love that be enough to keep
them together even.
Kendall took a story of a not so chance meeting and turned
it into an amazing love story with twist and turns you don’t see coming. The hints of what Lacey is holding back never
really gives you what you want until the secrets are reveal. You can’t but hope that these two characters
can see past the lies and find out that they are meant for each other. But secrets can destroy love and trust and it
takes a strong person to see past everything and put their heart on the line. Kendall Ryan has another hit on her hands and
I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the next book in the series.
